Mrs. Mary Jane Leatherman, 88, of Mt. Clemens, Mich., died Sunday afternoon in Martha T. Berry Hospital there. She had been in failing health for the past year and hospitalized for six month
Mrs. Leatherman was born May 9, 1876 in Paulding county the daughter of Jeremiah and Mary (Elston) Cattell.
She was married to W. A. Leatherman who died Nov. 29 1930. She is survived by sons, J. A. Leatherman, McComb, C. J. Leatherman, Mansfield, D. P. Leatherman, Mt. Clemens, Mich.; six grandchildren four great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren. Two children, Arthur and Viola are deceased.
A sister, Mrs. Phoebe Fausnaugh, of Bowling Green, also survives. A brother, Archie and two sisters, Abby and Bertha are dead.
The family spent 40 years in Continental where Mr. Leatherman was a jeweler and Mrs. Leatherman was a milliner. After the death of Mr. Leatherman she lived in Lima and later moved, with her son, D. P. Leatherman, to Mt. Clemens.
Mrs. Leatherman attended the United Brethren Church. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Harmon funeral Home, McComb. The Rev. Richard H. Addison of Wesley Methodist Church, Findlay will officiate. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill.
