Na-Deane married Harold Ernest Lurtsema who preceded her in death, and was of Dutch heritage, they had three children, Hollie Lurtsema, Harold Dean Lurtsema, and Marilyn Lurtsema, who survive. She had one brother named Holland Hollie Murray.
Na-Dean and Harold owed a gas station in Southern California and then bought 3 acres of land in Sunland/Tujunga, California. They rented apartments and trailer spaces until they sold the property and started traveling the United States and South America.
They spent their final years living near their son, Hollie and daughter, Marilyn in Northern California. They were grandparents to 10 grandchildren including but not limited to Mark Harold Lurtsema, Daniel Gene Lurtsema and Jeannie Louise Lurtsema (Carter), and had many great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchilddren all of which survive.
Harold and NaDeane are buried in Anderson, California and their gravestone reads, "Together Forever", and that is exactly how they lived their life. Always together.
