She married Louie W. Cole on January 17, 1924. They subsequently moved to Corsicana. Louie passed away on September 1, 1936. They had one daughter, Carolyn. After his death, she moved back to Dallas and was employed by Magnolia Petroleum company. She worked in Dallas until 1960 and moved to Midland, Texas with Magnolia. She retired in 1965 and moved back to Dallas and then later to Santa Fe, NM, to be near her daughter Mrs. Carolyn Stanfield.
She was a member of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church of Dallas. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Stanfield, two granddaughters, Lynn Hardwick of Sunnyvale, CA. and Carol Reifsteck of Portland, OR; grandson, Richard Martin of Dallas, TX, two great-grandchildren, Michael & Alyssa Hardwick of Sunnyvale, CA, brother H.K. Thomas of Midland, TX, two sisters, Marguerite Hall of Tulia, TX, and Gladys Little of Olton, TX; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were 1:00PM, Saturday, December 10, 1994 at Sparkman-Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel. Rev. Marshall Zieman of Highland Park Presbyterian Church officiated. Interment followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
