LAGRANGE, Ind. (AP) -- A minivan carrying three brothers crossed a center line
and struck a truck head-on, killing all three bothers, police said.

Indiana State Police said Aaron Ginther, 17, of Elkhart was driving a minivan
westbound on US 20 when it swerved across the center lane at 4:58 p.m. Saturday.

The van struck an eastbound semi and both vehicles burst into flames.

Aaron Ginther, along with Adam Ginther, 14, and Allen Ginther, 12, died at the
scene from blunt force trauma.

``What a tragedy,'' said Indiana State Trooper Deven Hostetler who investigated
the accident. ``There was no indication at the scene why they would have crossed
the center line and the witnesses could not give a reason either.''

After impact, the semi went over the top of the van and pushed into a steep
embankment on the north side of the road. The truck driver, Alexander Zeldman,
54, of Howell, Mich., climbed out the passenger side door as his truck caught
fire. He was not injured.

U.S. 20 was closed until 5 a.m. Sunday.
