CARTER - GILBERT E. CARTER, aged 69, of 242 Cortez rd., West Palm Beach, Fla., died Saturday afternoon at a hospital following a short illness. He came here 10 years ago from Chicago, Ill. A retired chair manufacturer, he was preceded in death by his wife, MRS. JOSEPHINE CARTER, in 1947, who is the sister of MRS. JOHN S. NOEL, West Palm Beach. Mr. Carter will arrive in Grand Rapids early Friday morning. Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at Greenwood cemetery at 1:30 o'clock. Arrangements by Rauschenberger-Walcott Funeral Home.
