A native of Goldsboro, NC, he was a son of Everett and Mrs. Channie Albertson and the husband of the late Mrs. Margaret Albertson.
He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Men's Bible Class and Longshoremen's Local 1248 and a 15-year retired longshoreman.
Surviving are a brother, Walter Albertson of Philadelphia, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lofton of Philadelphia and Mrs. Martha Davis of Goldsboro.
Services were held in Shiloh Baptist Church by the Rev. John Foster. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
