A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mrs. Lenderman was born June 12, 1909 to Milton John Turk and Julie Ann Reed Turk, and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was retired from Brenau College where she was the Director of Housekeeping. Mrs. Lenderman was the oldest charter member of the Lakewood Baptist Church and a member of the Golden Rule Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters; her husband, Horace Lenderman, son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Betty Clippard Lenderman, and grandson, Tim Lenderman.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, LaTrelle and Jake Waters, Gainesville; granddaughter, Elizabeth Waters, granddaughter and husband, Sandra and Mike Gibbs, Dahlonega, grandson and wife, Gregg and Lynn Lenderman, Dahlonega; great grandchildren, Amanda and Johnny Parks; Trent Gibbs; Charles and Britin Gibbs, Josh Lenderman and Cassie Lenderman; great great grandchildren, Alexis Gibbs and Madysen Gibbs. Also surviving are a special nephew, Mike Lenderman, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many special children and adults that she baby-sat over the year following her retirement from Brenau College.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, April 4, 2003 at the Lakewood Baptist Church. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. Little-Davenport Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
