Word has been received here of the death of A. Stanley Baxter, 74, of Hastings, Mich., a former resident of Columbus, who died Wednesday at his home. He was the brother of Ruth Myers of Taylorsville.
Baxter was employed over 30 years at the former Kenney Paper Co. in Columbus, where he served as president of the company for 10 years. He retired in 1979 and moved to Hastings. He was internal auditor for the National Bank of Hastings.
He was a member and elder of Hastings First Presbyterian Church. Funeral arrangements were made by Wren Funeral Home in Hastings.
