Mrs. Laura C. Walker, 89, widow of Elijah Walker, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs W.R. Marcus, Bluff Boone, apparently of a heart attack. Also surviving are two other daughters, Mrs. E.E. Durham, Louisville and Mrs Hobert Marcum, Springfield, Ill, and three sons, David Walker, Sandwich, Ill, and Wendell and Homer Walker, Mount Sherman. The funeral will be at Summersville Baptist Church; burial Walker Cemetery. Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
