GONE TO HIS REWARD.
David B. Lowell was born in Nunda, N.Y., Sept. 24, 1830, and died at his home in the Town of Wood, Sept. 21, 1903.
Mr. Lowell came to Wisconsin in the middle fifties and settled near Pine River, Waushara Co. He was married to Miss Esther A. Hall, Nov. 12th, 1857, three children blest their union. Mrs. Diantha S. Bucknell of Town of Wood, Daniel F. Lowell of Leola, Milo B. Lowell of Town of Wood, all of whom survive him except his wife who died April 14, 1890. Since then he has lived with his son Milo on the homestead in the Town of Wood. Mr. Lowell came to Wood County in the spring of 1874 and settled on the farm where he died. He united with the M. E. Church when a young man. When the Congregational Church was organized in Pittsville, Mr. Lowell was a charter member and at the time of his death was a deacon in that church. He died as he lived trusting in the Lord.
