MARSTONS MILLS — Richard G. "Dick" Hudson of Marstons Mills, formerly of Hudson, passed away on April 14, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, of 57 years; four children: Richard Hudson Jr. of Wilton, Conn., David Hudson of Stoughton, Robert Hudson of Boston and Dawna Schultz of Califon, N.J., and eight grandchildren.

A lifelong resident of New England, Dick was born and raised in Newton. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War, later attending Bentley College and employed by Raytheon for over 30 years as a business manager. Dick's hobbies were golf, gardening, woodworking and boating, but his true passion was tinkering around his home as a handyman. He was a genuine animal lover and loyal follower of the New England area sports teams.

A graveside service with military honors will held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, on June 24 at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given in Dick's name to the Disabled American Veterans Associations (DAV) or Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA).
