Services for Maggie Leola Crowell were held Sept. 9 [sic] at 2 in the chapel of Conger's Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Willie Knight, assisted by Bro. Glen Marr.
Mrs. Crowell was a housewife residing in Arcadia at the time of her death in Lincoln General Hospital, Ruston, on Sept. 25. She was 76. Interment was in Arcadia Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Kennon R. Crowell of Arcadia; a daughter, Betty L. Jones of Arcadia; two sons, Garland E. Crowell of Castor and Bobby R. Crowell of Teague, Tx; two sisters, Grace Morrow of Talihina, OK and Mary Holmes of Arcadia; nine grandchildren, Ricky, Vickie, Tony, Mike, Teri, Christy, and Stephen Crowell, and Tim Stricklin, and Johnny Jones; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tony Crowell, Ricky Crowell, Mike Crowell, Tim Stricklin, Ray Crowell, Bubba Holmes, Jimmy Smith, and Jimmy Smith [sic].
