"A Pretty House Wedding"
A very pretty home wedding was solemnized on Saturday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Wilhelm, corner Walnut and Laurel streets, when their daughter, Miss Catherine, gave her hand in marriage to Michael Henderschiedt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Henderschiedt, West Broad street. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Schlenker, at 8 o'clock, in the presence of the relatives of the contracting parties and a few of the most intimate friends of the family. The bridesmaid was Miss Christina Wilhelm, sister of the bride, and the groom's best man was Harry Weidenbach. After the extending of congratulations an elaborate wedding supper was partaken of. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Christian Henderscheidt, George, Conrad and Miss Annie Henderscheidt, John Sauers, Harry Wagner, Misses Anna and Hannah Koch, Misses Martha and Mary Otter, Mrs. M. Lonzer, Mrs. H. W. Hopkins, Mrs. J. Holler, and daughter, Anna, Mr. and Mrs. M. Stauffenberg, G. Ram and son Conrad, Henry, John, Lizzie, Marie and Christ Wilhelm, Mrs. Reifner, Freeland, and J. H. Wilhelm and daughter, Annie, Mr. Carmel. The Crescent Club, of which the groom is a member, attended in a body. The bride was the recipient of many useful and valuable gifts. The young couple start out on life's journey under the most favorable auspices and with the best wishes of a host of friends.

"Michael Henderschedt"
Michael Henderschedt, 67, of 646 McKinley street, this city, died at 12:55 o'clock yesterday afternoon, at the Hazleton State Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. He was born in Cranberry, the son of Christian and Mary Henderschedt, on November 13, 1876, and spent his entire life in this city. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, of Lafayette Council, No. 59, Order of Independent Americans, a member of the Moulders' Union, and treasurer of Black Diamond Branch, No. 171, Ben Hur Life Association of this city. Mr. Henderschedt was employed at Barrett-Haentjens and Company for a number of years, and was well known throughout the region.

Surviving are his widow who was formerly Kathryn Wilhelm; three children, Christ W. Henderschedt, a local plumber; James L. Henderschedt, linotype operator on the Standard-Sentinel; and Herbert P. Henderschedt, who is employed at Karn's, all of this city. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Herbert Henderschedt, Jr., and James Henderschedt, Jr.; one brother, John Henderschedt, of Lancaster; and two sisters, Mrs. John Ruehr, of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Milton Klinger, of Allentown.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon, with private services at 2:00 o'clock at the late residence, with interment in Mt. View cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening.

Michael Henderschedt, of 646 McKinley street, was laid to rest yesterday. The funeral was held privately at 2 o'clock with services at the house by Rev. Dr. F. T. Esterly, pastor of Christ Lutheran church. The pallbearers were: Gordan Schneider, representing the Barrett-Haentjens Co.; John Broadt and Clarence J. Krapf, representing the Ben-Hur Grand Fraternity; John C. Altmiller, Albert Krapf and Josiah Schafer, representing the Independent Order of Americans, Lafayette Council No. 59. Interment was in the Mt. View cemetery.
