Harry was the son of Charles S. and May H Thorn. He was born and raised in Bordentown. Harry graduated from Bordentown High School and Drexel Institute of Technology in 1942 having recieved a degree in Mechanical Engineering. On Apr. 24, 1937 he married Elizabeth M. Adams of Florence. Harry worked as a Chief Engineer for George W. Smith and Sons in Bordentown and later as a Product Manager for Koppers Inc. of Bordentown and Baltimore and retired from there in 1977. After his retirement he and his wife resided in Palm Coast, FL. Harry was a skilled cabinet maker. He was a member of Mount Moriah Lodge 28 F.&A.M. in Bordentown and the White Horse Fire Company.
