Evelyn R. Leehan of Niagara Falls, a former waitress and Tops market employee, died Thursday in her home while under the care of Niagara Hospice. She was 86.
The former Evelyn Genova was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools.
Mrs. Leehan was a waitress at the Jenss Coffee Shop on Main Street for 20 years and at Maxims for 10 years. For the last decade of her working life, she was a shipping receiver at the Tops store on Hyde Park Boulevard.
Her husband of 60 years, William, died in 1999.
Survivors include a son, Allen; and a daughter, Sally DeSantis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2486 Grand Ave.
