Thomas Guy Acierno, 82, of San Diego died Monday. He was born in Chicago and was a mechanical engineer. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Johanna Acierno; sons, Thomas Acierno of San Diego and Joseph Acierno of Omaha, Neb.; sisters, Lena Crispino and Rose Haddad of Chicago; brother, Anthony Acierno of Berwyn, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Mass: 2 p.m. today, St. Michael Catholic Church, 15546 Pomerado Road, Poway.
Donations: American Heart Association, 9404 Genesee Ave., Suite 240, La Jolla, CA 92037.
Arrangements: Poway-Bernardo Mortuary.
