Mary Louise Hughes formerly of Louisville, age 89, passed away on Thursday April 7, 2011 at her residence in Springfield Kentucky. She was the former Mary Louise Hardin, a native of Washington Co. and an admitting clerk at St. Mary Elizabeth Hospital and a member of South Louisville Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Cordie Whitehouse Hardin, three sons David, Glenn and Jimmy Hughes, four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by two daughters Carla (Quentin) Williams of St. Peter's Mo. and Celisia (Mike) Burke of Ragland Ala., daughter-in-law Mary Hughes of Bloomfield, ten grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mary Louise Hughes will be on Sunday April 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Houghlin Funeral Home with Brother Charlie Burgin and Brother Greg Bowen officiating with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield Kentucky. Friends may kindly call Houghlin Funeral Home on Saturday April 9, 2011 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
