Ernest W Schroeder, age 67, passed away Tuesday morning August 26, 1975, after a long illness. Mr. Schroeder was born in the town of Washington on Dec 13, 1907 and had been a resident of Sauk County most of his life. He was a retired painter and a member of the First United Methodist Church and Painters Union No. 173.
Survivors include his wife, the former Doris Plummer, two sons, Norman, Baraboo and Allen, Oregon, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Alice Meyer, Reedsburg, one brother Karl Dorow, Baraboo and eight grandchildren. Memorial services will be held thursday August 28, at 2 p.m. at the Hanson Funeral Home, Rev. David Worm officating. There will be no visitation.
