HARTFORD - Services will be Wednesday at the United Methodist Church here for Mrs. Ella P. Tefft, 88, Denver, a former Kansan, who died Friday in a nursing home at Denver.
She was born Feb. 17, 1883 in Winnebago County, Ill. She lived in the Hartford community and later at Emporia before she moved to Denver in 1965. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Hartford.
Survivors include 2 sons, Olin J. Chambers, Harford [Hanford], Calif., and Glen L. Chambers, Concrete, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Lyla M. Scales, Denver; 3 stepsons, Earl Tefft, Beloit, Wis., Bill Tefft, Omaha, and Clifford Tefft, Emporia [Saffordville]; a sister, Mrs. Rose Hoch, Burlington; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Hartford Cemetery. Jones Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
