Clifford Archie Ferebee, eldest son of George B. and Francis Ferebee, born May 9, 1880, in Richland County, Wisc., passed away in the Bismarck, N. Dak., hospital on May 8 at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 29 days. He married Josephine DeLong near Angus, Nebr., February 22, 1910. Two sons were born to this union, George B. and Truman B. Ferebee, both of Halliday, N. Dak.

Mrs. Ferebee preceded him in death on December 10, 1941.

In May, 1949, Mr. Ferebee was married to Christena Benton.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Christena; two sons, Geo. B. and Truman B.; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Samuel D. and Olra V. of Champion, Nebr., and Arbor B. of Nelson, Nebr.; two sisters, Ada Willoughby of Sheridan, Ore., and Dorothy Brown of Nelson, Nebr.

Clifford attended normal school at Peru, Nebr. two terms, graduated from Quincy, Ill., Business College. Later he migrated to Carson, in Grant County, N. Dak., where he homesteaded. Here his two sons were born and lived here two years after which he moved to Mrs. Ferebee's homestead 2 1/2 miles from Halliday, where he lived until the time of his death.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 13, at 2 p.m. in the Congregational church (sic) in Halliday with the Rev. Harold Case officiating.

Burial was in the Dickinsen (sic), N. Dak., cemetery. - Killdeer (N. Dak.) Herald.
