She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brownlow Trent; daughters, Dorothy Gaye Hajek and Doris J. Lipe; sisters, Grace Aud, Olivia Barker and infant sister, Thelma Alvis and brothers, Edd, G.D., Rufus and Tom Alvis.
She is survived by a son, Charles Curtis Trent and wife, Reba, Rogersville; grandchildren, Denise Lipe Gallardo and husband, Joseph, Sterling, IL, Walt Lipe and wife, Stephanie, Peoria, IL, Scott Hajek, Lincoln, IL, Sherri Lea and husband, Ron, Elkridge, MD, and Charles Gregg Trent and wife, Michele, Centreville, MD; son-in-law, Eugene Hajek, Lincoln, IL; great-grandchildren, Justin and Lauren Lea, Micah Gallardo, Sadie Lipe and Taylor and Jordan Trent and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was conducted Tuesday, December 28, 2004 in the Broome Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Tony Buchanan officiating. Graveside service was Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens.
Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville was in charge of arrangements.
