In about 1820, after his marriage to Elizabeth Whitehead, they moved to Meriwether Co., GA, then to Russell Co., AL.

1822 - List of "Gwinnett County Georgia Insolvents" in book titled Some Georgia County Records, Volume 6, by Lucas, on page 435, lists Axom Pearce as owing taxes but had not yet paid them.
