Ralph Lister Meek Jr., 62, of Lincoln died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born July 30, 1939, in Bartlesville, Okla., he was the son of Ralph Lister Meek Sr. and Marie McGowan.

He was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Farmington. He retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service, having served Germany and Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by two children, Cynthia Ann and Russell Darrell.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Meek of the home; four brothers, Jesse Meek of Hurley, Mo., Raymond Meek of Copan, Okla., Johnny Meek of Harrison and Charles J. Tyler of Bartlesville, Okla.; and a sister, Patty Tyler of Mountain View.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Farmington with the Rev. Bill Conley officiating.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Oak Grove Cemetery in Crane, Mo.

Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.
