Sam Keeling was a farmer. At age 15 he baby sat a little baby girl named Flossie Holdway. He was so taken by her he said " I'm gonna Marry her". He did many years later. Sam was one of 5 children born to Thomas Keeling and Mary C.(Wilhite) Keeling. Sisters were Christy (Keeling)Ikerd, Nettie Keeling, brothers, William Turner Keeling, Oscar H. Keeling.. Sam and Flossie lived in Elkland, Mo. California, Bolivar,Mo. and Springfield, Mo. They had two daughters, Nanalee Keeling, Helen Monzella (Keeling) Rolufs.
