GINN

Franklin Clifford Ginn, third son of Samuel T. Ginn and Mary Peterson, was born in Lucas County, Iowa on April 23, 1903 and passed away January 20, 1977 at the Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton.

He was a retired railroad employee and a lifelong resident of Lucas.

In August, 1926 he was married to Hazel Woods.

Surviving are his wife, Hazel; five children, Frank of Lucas, Gordon and Gerald of Des Moines, Mrs. John (Beth) Rouse of Chariton, and Mrs. Eugene (Margaret) Glidden; 16 grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

Also one sister, Mrs. Clara Beebout of Chariton; four brothers, Mr. and Mrs. William Ginn and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ginn of Wichita, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ginn and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ginn of Des Moines and one sister-in-law, Mrs. John Ginn of Wayne, Nebr. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, John and Lem.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at the Fielding Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Mansfield officiating. Interment was in the Fry Hill Cemetery.
