Sidney Louis Battistella, 59, of Cumming, Ga., died Thursday, August 28, 2008 at his home.
Memorial service arrangements were pending this morning at McDonald and Son Funeral Home & Crematory, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, Ga. 30040.
Sidney was born in Olney, the son of the late Secundo Paul Battistella and Patsy Ruth Grupe.
He attended St.Joseph Catholic School and graduated from East Richland High School in Olney. He served in the Air Force and was self-employed for the past 20 years.
O, beloved brother of ours, you will be sorely missed.
Sidney is survived by his daughter, Dawn Ruth Battistella of Fairfax, Va.; brothers, Robert (Mary) Battistella and Paul Battistella of Alexander City, Ala.; twin sister, Cynthia (Bill) Dukes of Alexander City, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
