Charlene Ann Stiltner, Age 59 of Sciotoville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at SOMC in Portsmouth.

She was born February 1, 1952 in Columbus to Charles H. and Barbara (Rice) Bretz. Charlene was a homemaker and volunteered for many organizations. She was active in breast cancer awareness programs and survived for 37 years with a kidney donated by her sister, Mary. She was a member of Riverview Missionary Baptist Church, was a Sunday school teacher, a member of Ladies of Faith, and loved studying and discussing the Bible. Charlene loved to write, enjoyed jewelry-making, gardening, and crafts.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 41 years, John, of Sciotoville; one son, Chad, of Sciotoville; two daughters, Jasmine Stiltner-Aldridge of Sciotoville, Terri Webb (James) of Sciotoville; one brother, Charles M. (Angie) Bretz, of Wellston; four sisters, Mary Lester, of Shelby, NC, Becky (Richard) Miller, of Lancaster, OH, Carol (Raymond) VanHorn, of Amanda, OH, Eva (Donald) Salisbury, of Sciotoville; three grandchildren, James Webb II, Brittany Burchett, Miranda Webb; one great-grandchild, Aaron Gilliland.

She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Lisa Michelle, and her parents.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Ralph Shaffer officiating. Interment will be on Monday, April 25, 2011 in Old Wheelersburg Cemetery in Wheelersburg. Friends may call from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday before the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Riverview Missionary Baptist Church.
