CHARLESTOWN Justice Tarter, 71, of 2048 Edgewood Drive, died at 8 p.m. Thursday at Clark County Hospital, Jeffersonville. Survivors include three sons, Kenneth E. Tarter, of Charlestown, Bobby Tarter, of Jeffersonville, and Jerry B. Tarter, of New Albany; three daughters, Mrs. Vera Hicks, of Madison, Mrs. Dana M. Humphrey, of Charlestown, and Mrs. Ida Schoolcraft, of Chelsea, and 15 grandchildren. Funeral, 2 p.m. Sunday, Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Burial, Charlestown Cemetery. The body will be at Grayson Charlestown Funeral Home after noon Saturday.
