Harold Louis Stice was born July 7, 1918, in Centerville, Iowa, to Artie and Nellie (Allen) Stice. He was raised in Centerville and at the age of 13 moved with his family to St. Paul. After his education he began working for Swift & Company in South St. Paul. He married Marjorie Gordy on April 7, 1940, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in St. Paul. After marriage they lived in South St. Paul and Harold continued working for Swift and later for 3M Company for 10 years. In 1967, they moved for a short time to Newport before moving to their lake home in Rush City. In the early 1990's they moved to Maplewood and in 2004 to Northfield. Marjorie passed away on September 12, 2004.

Harold was former longtime member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in North St. Paul. He loved the lake, the MN Twins and his grandchildren. Harold and Marjorie enjoyed their lake home immensely and shared many great memories there with their daughters and grandchildren.

Survivors include 2 daughters: Mary and husband John Payette of Oakdale, Nancy and husband John Fodor of rural Faribault; 5 grandchildren: Gary "Tom" Mulcahy and wife Tawna of Stillwater, Brian Mulcahy and wife Michelle of Woodbury, Heather Winsdorf and husband Toby of Lakeland, Lynn Fodor Anderson and husband Bruce of Farmington, Robert Fodor and companion Lisa Benick of Stacy; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; his sister, Rebecca (Floyd) Quick of Tennessee; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Marjorie; his parents; and 2 brothers: Allen and Arthur.

Harold passed away Wednesday morning, April 20, 2011, at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield, at the age of 92.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Hazelwood with Fr. Thomas Rayar officiating. Music will be provided by Marlys Mouser. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral.
