Mrs. William R. Lorenz, 82, a member of Western Reserve Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a native of Perry in Lake County, died Thursday in Overlook House, 2187 Overlook Road S. E. Her former residence was at 1327 Oakridge Road, Cleveland Heights.

Mrs. Lorenz, the former Ethel M. Landphair, was a member of the Heights Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, the First Church of Christ, Scientist, and the Mother Church, Boston.

Her husband is a retired treasurer and secretary of the Cleveland Hardware & Forging Co.

Surviving also are a son, Albert W.; daughter Alta-May; grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
