Margaret was the daughter of James Finley Mitchel and Lena Norwood Mitchell. She married Louis Parkhurst Brady on the 23rd of June 1920 in Titusville, Florida. Together Louis and Margaret had two sons.

L. P. Brady and Margaret C. Mitchell were married 23 June 1920 here in Titusville by W. B. Witherspoon who is identified as an ordained Pres. Minister. L. P. is identified as being "of Jacksonville." Witnesses were: Louis A. Brady and Frank E. Hall. Reference Marriage Book 4, Page 134.


Lawrence Pope Abney and Margaret Mitchell Brady were married 20 Aug 1939 at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church here in Titusville. Witnesses: R. W. Abney and Louis P. Brady. Reference Marriage Book 7, Page 182.

MARGARET ABNEY, 98, Bedford Road, Orlando, died Tuesday, Sept. 3. Mrs. Abney was a secretary for the Indian River Citrus Exchange. Born in Cocoa, she was a lifetime Central Florida resident. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Cocoa-Rockledge Garden Club and Cocoa Women's League. Survivors: sons, Louis P. Brady, Orland, James M. Brady, Gainesville; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Cocoa Funeral Home, Cocoa.
