She was born on April 3, 1921 in Montreal Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Geoffrey Johnstone and Ida Jane Tate Dodd. She attended school at Trafalgar School for the Girls and McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She was united in marriage on October 6, 1956 in Montreal, Quebec, to Leonard Charles Regan who preceded her in death on August 23, 1971. Anne was employed with Vitae Caring Foundation as a coordinator of educational outreach for over 34 years.
While in Montreal she worked as a secretary for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Cnception Catholic Church St Ann's Sodality. Anne enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, babies, reading, watching over her wrens and traveling with her late husband.
Survivors include two children, Peter and wife Pam Regan of Jefferson City, Susan and husband Arnie Schreck , Tipton, four grandchildren, Shannon and husband Abe Bahadori, Ethal Regan, Adam Schreck, Levi Regan, one niece, Ellen and husband, Jim Hancock, and their children, James and Elizabeth and one nephew, Geoffrey and wife Lucy Dodd. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Dodd.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1p.m. Friday July 16, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr David D. Cox officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-7p.m. Thursday at Dulle Trimble Funeral Home.
