Byron K. Baker went home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 22, 2010, surrounded by his loving family.
Byron was born in a buggy en route from Andes to Culbertson on Aug. 5, 1919, to George and Clara (Palmer) Baker.
He married Vivian Caldwell in Stillwater, Texas, in 1944.
Byron is survived by Vivian, his devoted wife of 65 years; sister, June Thompson of Culbertson; children, Shirley (Jeff) Schilling of Elliston, Sharon (Mike) Pickens of Colstrip, Larry (Judy) Baker, Mike (Dalena) Baker, Lynnae and Dan Bright, all of Helena; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
