MRS. WILLIAM GILL DIES UNEXPECTEDLY

Mrs. William Gill of Camp Grove, sister of Mrs. Marguerite Megan of Princeville, died unexpectedly in Chicago early Sunday morning after an illness of only a few hours, following a heart attack. Mrs. Megan was with her at the time she was stricken. They had gone to Chicago to spend the weekend.
Mrs. Gill was a most kind and loving wife and mother and her first thought was always of her family, to whom she devoted her entire life. She will be missed not only by her family but a host of friends and neighbors to whom she always was ready to give to the utmost of her strength and time. Possessed of a sunny, cheerful, disposition, she always the most congenial friend and companion and her many acts of kind helpfulness will not soon be forgotten.

She was a faithful member of St. Patrick's church of Camp Grove and also belonged to the Altar and Rosary society of that parish and here also her death will leave a sadness and that a sense of great loss which only the passing of one so true and faithful can bring.

Catherine Irene Long, daughter of William and Catherine Noonen Long of the Princeville community, was born June 21, 1884. She attended the Fox school of Valley township and on February 14, 1906, was united in marriage to William Gill at St. Mary of the Woods church in Princeville.
Three children were born to this union, a son Clement Gill and a daughter Mrs. Arthur Duffy, both of whom reside near Wyoming. The third child, a daughter died in infancy.

She is survived by her sorrowing husband and two children, six grandchildren, the sister Marguerite Megan of Princeville and two brothers, James Long of Princeville and William Long of Speer. Her parents, one brother Roy and three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Carroll of Brimfield, Mrs. Joseph Ryan of Wyoming and Mrs. John Hickey of Peoria, receded her in death.

Solemn high mass was held Wednesday morning from Sr. Patrick's church in Camp Grove, with the Pastor, Rev. R. E. Gates, as celebrant, Rev. J. A. Gordon of Princeville acted as Deacon and a nephew Rev. James Long as sub-deacon. Interment was in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Pallbearers were Francis And Robert Fennell, Edward and William Hickey and William and Thomas Sager, all nephews of the deceased.
