Don Douglas Durrett, four month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ancil Durrett of near Summersville died Saturday, September 30, 1947 after a long illness.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 21, in the Church of the Nazarene, Summersville with the Rev. Clarence Dishon in charge. Burial was in the Wilson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Vernus Durrett, Calvin Durrett, Herman Junior Thompson and Bobby Rattliff.
Flower girls were Louise Durrett, Mary Jean Milby, Rachel Hall, A. Milby, Nannie Morine Walker, Phyllis Ann Lobb, Carol Smith and Margaret Milby.
