Lived on plantation found by his Great Grandfather Henry Goodloe in 1775. He was married twice and is buried behind his home near Spotsylvania with his secind wife Judith Anna "Nanny" Waller whose family own Kunta Kinte from the ROOTS saga.

Grave area behind house now owned by Richard Young in 2011 photo. Says he cannot cleanup area because it belongs to the Goodloe family.

George P Goodloe is buried in small grove of trees behind Goodloe Plantation house to the left in this picture. Large barn to the right is modern structure. Small stones in this tree'd area mark graves of other family members. George's grave marker may have been added by a family member long after his death because the stone does not look very old. This raises a question as to George and Nannie actually being buried in this spot, or is it meant as a memorial?

George is buried behind the Goodloe Plantation near Thornburg, VA. in a grove of trees. Owner of property says he cannot clean up gravesite because it belongs to the Goodloe family. Anyone up for a work detail?

Nannie W. noted here is Ida Waller his second wife. The Waller name is found extensively around Williamsburg as it was a large plantation family that owned Kunte Kente from the book "ROOTS"
