Alpha E. Johnson was born Jan. 1, 1910, at Manhattan, the daughter of John and May (Chapman) Rice. She died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999, at Frankfort. She married Edwin Johnson June 14, 1930, and he preceded her in death April 1, 1967; also preceded by three brothers and three sisters.
Survived by a son, M. Johnson of Tigard, Ore.; two daughters, L. Schultes and husband of Randolph and R. Harder and husband of Canyonville, Ore.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Burial in Randolph Fancy Creek Cemetery north of Randolph.
