A.E. BEAL

The funeral for A.E. Beal, 75, will be 2 p.m. today at Sanders Funeral Home Chapel, King-fisher. Burial will be in Kingfisher Cemetery. The Rev. Buddy M. Reeves will officiate.

He was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Durant to Claud and Daisy Beal and died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, at his home.

He moved with his family to Frederick at age 4 where he attended Weaver schools.

He entered the Army in 1952 during the Korean War and served as a technical sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division.

He married Beverly Faller in 1953 in Frederick. He worked for Mistletoe Express Service for more than 20 years as a driver, then as operations manager in the Tulsa office. He worked for Ford Motor Co. in the Tulsa glass plant for more than 18 years where he retired in 1994. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his wife Beverly; one son, Rodney Beal of Owasso; one daughter, Shari Dean of Kingfisher; four sisters, Juanita Clark and Mona Hobbs, both of Bakersfield, Calif., Gracie Gilbert of Cabool, Mo., and Annie Peters of Modesto, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.
