Daughter of William Kellums and Louisa C. Johnson Kellums of Ridgeway, Gallatin County, Illinois.

1st Married; Philetus Baker August 26, 1912 in Butler County, Missouri.

2nd Married; Kempfer.

After Philetus's death in 1937, She moved her family from Missouri to Azizona in 1938. Alice was a widow for over 30 yrs when she remarried for a very short while and divorced and never courted again. Whenever suitors would come to court her the boys would 'run' them off as they thought they were protecting their mother and staying loyal to their deceased father. Family lived with her off an on through the years and she babysat grandchildren while her youngest daughter Audrey and husband Joe Daugherty worked. In later years they sold her house and had her move into their home where she continued to watch over their boys until they were grown. Later she did have to be placed in an Adult Care Facility, Dr.'s orders and there is where she passed. She was quite the Matriarch and was loved very much.
