Robert V. Batman, Allentown scoutmaster, died unexpectedly Monday after suffering a heart attack at his home, 1518 Liberator Ave. He was 42.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late A. Victor and Rose Mary (Kerstetter) Batman.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, where he served as scoutmaster of Troop 107. He was employed as a sheet metal layout man in the engineering department at Mack Trucks.
Surviving with his widow, Mae (Miller) Batman, are three daughters, Bonita L., Kristie A. and Kathleen S., all at home; a sister, Gladys, wife of William R. S. McCurley of Allentown, and a brother, Donald of Allentown.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the First Presbyterian Church. Viewing will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Bachman Funeral Home, 1030 Walnut St., Allentown.
