Larry Cattafesta, 60, of Fairmont, died Saturday (April 23, 2011) in United Hospital Center, Bridgeport.

He was born Oct. 15, 1950, in Fairmont, the son of the late Augustine "Gustie" Cattafesta and Anna Virginia Squires Cattafesta.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbie Kisner Cattafesta of Fairmont.

He is survived by a son and two daughters, Jay T. Cattafesta, Lisa Nichole Cattafesta and Tai Larrae Cattafesta, all of Fairmont; his twin brother, Garry Cattafesta of Fairmont; a niece, Tammy Boyce of Fairmont; two nephews, Ryan Cattafesta of Kingmont Community and Chad Cattafesta of Fairmont; and a sister-in-law and her husband, Carla and Jack Belt of North Canton, Ohio.

Larry had worked for the F.M.C. Corp. and Industrial Contractors for several years. He was co-owner of C.B.C. Construction and CATT Construction. He also owned and operated Garlow's Alignment Service on Morgantown Avenue in Fairmont for 18 years.

Larry was Lutheran by faith. He was a 1968 graduate of East Fairmont High School, where he excelled on the football and baseball teams. He also attended Fairmont State College. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing near his camp in Petersburg. Larry was a water skier and boat operator for the Tygart Valley Water Ski Club. He enjoyed coaching his children's athletic teams over the years. Larry also played golf in the local area.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 p.m. today and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor James Saunders officiating. The committal service will follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.

Memorial contributions may be made to the East Fairmont High School Foundation, 1993 Airport Road, Fairmont, WV 26554.
