Born Sept. 25, 1941, in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Josephine (Elias) Abbood. He is survived by his children, Patricia Abbood Dyl and William Abbood, both of East Providence; three grandchildren, Kyle, Marisa and Mollie; and his sister, Rachael DeMello, also of East Providence.
His funeral will begin Thursday at 8:45am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by Funeral Mass at 10am at St. Raymond's Church (St. George's Maronite Catholic Church), 1240 North Main St., Providence. Military honors and burial will follow at the RI Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 4-8pm.
