Franklin was the youngest of two sons born to Ladd Holt and Mary Rosa (Bray) Lineberry. He married Lila Jewell Johnson in 1953 and they were the parents of three children: Rosita Ruth, Alfred Carl and John Steven.

STALEY - A. Franklin "Frank" Lineberry, 59, of 135 Terapin Slide Road died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1994.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rocky River Friends Meeting cemetery.

He was a native of Chatham County and was employed by Best Carthage Transportation in Greensboro. Mr. Lineberry was preceded in death by his parents, Ladd and Rose Lineberry, and granddaughter, Jennifer Davis.

Surviving are wife, Mrs. Jewel Johnson Lineberry of the home; daughter, Rosita Lineberry Davis of Staley; sons, Alfred Carl Lineberry of Seagrove, and John Steven Lineberry of Staley; brother, J.C. Lineberry of Ramseur; sister, Marie Stanley of Liberty; nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.
