Sister Margheretta Marie Byrne, SNJM (nee Marion J.Byrne)--passed away at the Community Hospital of Los Gatos, CA, on 28 October 2002, age 86, and 63 years as a vowed religious. A native of Missouri.
Sister was an elementary school teacher, principal and San Francisco Archdiocesan Supervisor of Elementary Schools.
She is survived by her brother Hugh Byrne and his family, friends, and her loving Sisters and Associates of the Holy Names.
A Mass of Resurrection was celebrated on Sunday, November 3rd, at Convent of the Holy Names, Los Gatos. Burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward, CA.
