RONALD LEE WINES, 72, of Front Royal, died on Monday, April 25, 2011 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at Maddox Funeral Home on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Peg Mitchell. Entombment will be held at Panorama Memorial Gardens with military honors.
Mr. Wines was born March 29, 1939 in Front Royal, son of the late Samuel Burrell Wines and Evelyn Bailey Wines of Front Royal.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired as a quality control inspector from Atlantic Research Corporation. Mr. Wines was a member of Bennett's Chapel United Methodist Church, Front Royal Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 829 and American Legion Post 53.
He was married to the late Marlen Elaine Wines.
Surviving along with his mother is a son, Kevin Wines and his wife Melissa; two daughters, April Wines Henry and husband Ronnie and Ronny Lee Wines, all of Front Royal; one brother, Lee O'Farrell Wines and wife Mona of Bentonville; and four grandchildren, Whitney Henry, Chelsey Henry, Blaize Wines, and Bryce Wines.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel B. Wines, Jr.
Pallbearers will be CD Jenkins, Ronnie Henry, Larry Miller, David Fogle, Danny Williams, and Clint Wines.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 28, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
