Born in Horry County, he was the son of the late Jesse and Cora Todd Stevens. Mr. Stevens was a retired auto dealer, member of Loris Lodge 205 and a member of the Loris Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Marlow Stevens of Loris; a daughter, Mrs. Deanie Weldon of Chapin; two sisters, Mrs. Sissie Sessions of Loris and Mrs. Ellie Cade of Bunnlvel; and three grandchildren.
