Oran - Ethyle M. Lettelier, 87 years old, of Oran died Thursday, May 20, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 6, 1912, in Westport, Minn., the daughter of Henry and Ethel C. Gilbert Bodeker. She and Ralph E. Lettlier were married March 5, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was with the Salvation Army in the 1940s, and was a retired minister and evangelist with the Assembly of God Church in California.
She moved to Oran in September 1998 from Vernal, Utah. She was a member if the Tri-City Assembly of God Church in Covina, Calif.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Stan Pennie, Bush Thornton and Carlton Carr; two daughters, Darlene Carlisle and Laura McGuire; an adopted daughter, Manorma Willis; a brother, Warren Bodeker; two sisters, Dorothy Robbins and Lee Blomstrom; 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral service will be held Monday at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran. Burial will be in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
