Homemaker was active in Scotch Hill Church
Mrs. Kathryn Pringle Magee of Orchard Manor, Pine Township, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday in her residence following an extended illness. She was 89.
Mrs. Magee was born March 23, 1915 in Clairton, a daughter of William Clarence and Gertrude Mary Eakin Nobles.
A homemaker, she was a member of Scotch Hill Presbyterian Church and of the church's Quilter's Club, and was a former president of the church's Women's Association. She was also a volunteer for Grove City Meals on Wheels and a member of the Grove City VFW Post 519 Auxiliary.
She enjoyed baking and was an avid quilter.
Surviving are: two sons, Ed Magee and his wife Sandra, Mercer; and James K. Magee and his wife Karen, Grove City; three sisters, Frances Osborne, Helen Chambers and her husband Bob, and Ardith Savitz, all Pittsfield Pennsylvania; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, Edward Merle Magee, who died Feb. 13, 2000; her first husband, Robert S. Pringle, who died in 1964; a son, Jack L. Pringle; a sister, Clarice Dunlap; and a brother, Lee Nobles.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today (5-5-04) in Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Funeral service at 10 a.m. tomorrow (5-6-04) in the funeral home.
Internment in Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City.

*Kathryn married Robert "Bob" Samuel Pringle on September 12 1936 at home in Grand Valley, Pennsylvania by a Reverend Smock. They had a Son named Jack LeRoy Pringle
