Mrs. Scalfano, 74, of Alexandria died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, in Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and was retired from Rapides General Hospital with over 25 years service. She was also a member of the American Dietetic Association, CENLA and Louisiana Dietetic Association.
Survivors include five daughters, Kathy Yates of West Monroe, Mary Anne Ward of Pineville, Emily S. Bonnette of Alexandria, Susan Crouch of Houston, Texas, and Sally Miller of Lecompte; three sons, Samuel Scalfano Jr. of Monroe, Thomas Scalfano of Orange, Texas, and Edward Scalfano of Alexandria; two sisters, Elnora Avery of Monroe and Laverne Hargrove of West Monroe; four brothers, C.P. Wagoner Jr. and Julius Wagoner, both of West Monroe, Roy Dan Wagoner of Ferriday and Kenny Wagoner of Vidalia; and 28 grandchildren.
