Murray Edgar Stoner, 50, Fairfield, a veteran of World War II died Sunday morning at 7:30 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Baltimore.
A lifelong resident of Adams County he was a son of Mrs. Mary Cook Stoner, Fairfield, and the late Charles E Stoner, and had been a mason. He was a member of the Fairfield Amvets, the American Legion here and the Gettysburg Moose Lodge. He was discharged from the army October 28, 1944, after serving in Co. D. 19th Infantry Division.
Surviving are his mother; a son, Philip Stoner, Bendersville, and three brothers, John Stoner, York; Paul Stoner, Fairfield, and Kenneth Stoner, Gettysburg R3.
Funeral services Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 from the Wilson ?Funeral Home, Fairfield, with the Rev,. Otto Kroeger officiating. Interment in Flohr's Cemetery.
